Description [Abstrak] : <strong>This study aims to determine the effect of remuneration and work safety on the job satisfaction of guards prison at the Bayur Narcotics prison in Samarinda. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subject of this study was 106 ASN guards prison who were selected using the simple random sampling technique. The data collection method used is the scale of remuneration, work safety and job satisfaction. The collected data was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the help of Amos version 22 software. The results of this study show that remuneration with job satisfaction shows a value of C.R of 3.312&gt; 1.96 and a P value of 0.000&gt; 0.05, which means that remuneration has an influence on job satisfaction. Then on work safety with job satisfaction shows the value of C.R is 0.622 \u2264 1.96 and the P value is 0.534&gt; 0.05 which work safety does not have an influence on job satisfaction.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>  5.
