Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah menurunnya kinerja pegawai di Kantor Camat Sangatta Utara Kabupaten Kutai Timur. Melihat fenomena tersebut, maka penulis mencoba untuk melihat disiplin kerja sebagai salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kantor Camat Sangatta Utara Kabupaten Kutai Timur dengan sampel yang berjumlah 58 orang menggunakan metode sensus. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara observasi, penyebaran kuesioner, dokumentasi dan penelitian kepustakaan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi Product Moment (pearson), analisis Regresi Linear Sederhana, Kecermatan Prediksi dan Koefisien Penentu atau Koefisien Determinasi. Setelah digunakan rangkaian uji statistik, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kinerja pegawai di Kantor Camat Sangatta Utara Kabupaten Kutai Timur yaitu sebesar 21,1%, yang berarti bahwa sisanya 79,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>  5.
