4. Description [Abstrak] : The purpose of this study was to determine the self-identity status of early adult men with hemophilia. The researcher use qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The researcher use purposive sampling technique and data collection methods in this study using in-depth interview and observation related to two subjects who had hemophilia caused by heredity and gene mutations. In subject SJ, SJ had moratorium identity status in the work domain, moratorium identity status in the spiritual domain, foreclosure identity status in social relations domain, foreclosure identity status in physical domain, and foreclosure identity status in personality domain. Subject AB had foreclosure identity status in the work domain, achievement identity status in the spiritual domain, achievement identity status in social relations domain, foreclosure identity status in physical domain, and achievement identity status in personality domain. Factors that affect identity status of subject SJ include the level of individual openness to various alternative identities, social expectations about identity choices, parenting style, and level of identification with parents. Factors that affect identity status of subject AB include the social expectations about identity choices, presence of model figures, level of identification with parents, parenting style and level of individual openness to various alternative identities.<\/strong><\/li>\n
