3. Subject [Subjek dan kata kunci]: happiness and unmarried middle-aged women<\/strong><\/li>\n
4. Description [Abstrak] : The aim of this study is to see how the description of happiness among unmarried middle-aged women. The researcher used qualitative research method with case study approach. The researcher used purposive sampling technique and the data collection method in this research is an in-depth interview and observation that related to the four subjects i.e. working and nonworking unmarried middle-aged women. On the first subject SN, a nonworking unmarried middle-aged woman. SN was not happy with her life. This situation was caused by a conflict that she had experienced and also, related with her unmarried status up until then, the subject felt her increasing age yet still not married. The factors that affected SN\u2019s unhappiness were such as marriage, negative emotion as well as age. The second subject IS, a working unmarried middle-aged woman. IS had a conflict that made her still in an unmarried status which was related with the tradition from her family that is, subject could not overtake her older sister to marry. IS was happy with her current life. The factors that affected IS\u2019s happiness were such as finance, social life, age, health, sex, religion. The third subject TA, a nonworking unmarried middle-aged woman. TA had a conflict that made her still in an unmarried status up until then which was related with the approval from her late father before he died. TA was happy with her current life. The factors that affected TA\u2019s happiness were such as social life, age, health, sex, religion. The fourth subject RA, a working unmarried middle-aged woman. RA was still in unmarried status up until then because she had chosen to focus on working and to take care both of her parents as well as to make them happy. RA was happy with her life. The factors that affected RA\u2019s happiness were such as finance, social life, age, health, sex and religion.<\/strong><\/li>\n
