4. Description [Abstrak] : This research aims to find out how the image of work competency and self-adjustment fresh graduate faculty of education science that does not work as a teacher. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Retrieval of respondents in this study using purposive sampling with data collection methods using observation and in-depth interviews with all four subjects. The results showed that of the four subjects in this research had doubts by their colleagues because of having a different background from their work. Differences in educational background require individuals to have competence and good self-adjustment in order to be able to compete in the world of work. CJ subjects chose to resign from their jobs because they felt unable to accept the increasingly heavy workload. While the AE, EM and IS subjects choose to survive in the current job. The difficulty of getting a job as a teacher, the lack of wages received when becoming a teacher and the demands of life which are increasingly becoming the reason for the four subjects to choose to work is not in accordance with their educational background.<\/strong><\/li>\n
