4. Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to determine the impact of peer conformity and self-control on smoking behavior in students of Senior High School 6 Samarinda. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 60 students selected by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods used are the scale of smoking behavior, peer conformity, and self-control. Data analysis technique using multiple regression analysis test and gradual regression analysis test. The results showed that there was influence between peer conformity and self-control of smoking behavior on students of Senior High School 6 Samarinda with R = 0.452, F arithmetic = 17.303 (F count 0.05). In addition, from the regression analysis of the gradual model it is known that there is influence of peer conformity on smoking behavior with beta value = 0.348; t arithmetic = 2.940 (t count 0.05). Then, the result of regression analysis of the next step model is known that there is influence of self-control on smoking behavior with beta value = -0.301; t arithmetic = -2.548 (t count 0.05).<\/strong><\/li>\n
