Selanjutnya, data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara observasi, penyebaran kuesioner, dokumentasi dan penelitian kepustakaan. Kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan korelasi pearson product moment, analisis korelasi parsial, kecermatan prediksi dan analisis koefisien penentu atau koefisien determinasi. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah pertama, reward ternyata mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai  pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Kutai Timur. Kedua, besarnya reward terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Kutai Timur adalah sebesar 22,9%. Dengan demikian ada sekitar 77,1% dipengaruhi variabel-variabel atau faktor-faktor lain.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>  5.
