Description [Abstrak] : esearch on marital adjustment and marriage satisfaction in married individuals through ta\u2019aruf process aims to find out the representation of marital adjustment and individual marriage satisfaction married through ta\u2019aruf process. How marital adjustments have much differences between individuals with their partners. Its differences related to the character of each individual, perspective, thought and culture. How do individuals solve conflicts in their marriage and then finally get a marriage satisfaction. In the theory of marriage satisfaction is the evaluation of husband and wife toward their marriage that could change over time and is influenced by the maturity of adjustment and the suitability between the needs and expectations in the marriage. While the adjustment of marriage becomes important thing to achieve maximum satisfaction in marriage. Researcher uses qualitative research with phenomenology approach. The researcher uses purposive sampling technique, data collecting method in this research use depth interview with four subjects. The results showed that fron four subjects, one of them had difficulty in marital adjustment. The subject HS found the difficulty to adapt to the spouse, it can be seen from the aspect of marital adjustment that becomes a problem in HS subjects. These aspects include satisfaction in relationships that are perceived a serenity to the subject HS. This has an impact on the satisfaction of marriage that shows not all subjects in this study have aspects of marriage satisfaction that includes intimacy, commitment, communication, congruence and beliefs. HS\u2019s dissatisfaction with his marriage due to financial factors and cultural tribal differences. Financial is regarded as a support their life and to facilitate the needs that HS\u2019s subject has to give as the responsibility of the head of the household. While differences in cultural tribes impact on different subjects HS and couples in terms of perspective, character and how to resolve conflict in the household. Nevertheless, the four subjects agreed to stay in marriage because of religious beliefs and the presence of children. Religious beliefs and the presence of children provide peace to the troubled subject by remembering their respective tasks and roles.<\/strong><\/li>\n
