Description [Abstrak] : Research on achievement motivation in athletes physical disability who are following paralympics in Tenggarong, aims to see and know how the achievement motivation of athlete physical disability who has physical deficiency can achieve a very good achievement. Researchers use qualitative research methods with case study approach. Data collection methods in this study used observation, interview and documentation. Subjects in this study used purposive sampling and there are three subjects athletes physical disability that is weightlifting, aquatic, and athletics. Analysis technique used are data reducation, data display, and conclusion or verification. The results of this study is even though athletes physical disability have disability, they can make these disability as motivation. The successes of the achievements of the three subjects in participating in various paralympics that can\u2019t be separated from the achievement motivation, that is the support within (intrinsic motivation) and the support that third subjects get from the people around (extrinsic motivation). In the subject of IW belief, a very large self-confidence makes the subject achievements and proves to the others that he is be able to achieve achievements. In the subject IY motivation from the coach makes the subject have the confidence to achieve achievement and support from the husband makes the subject more spirited in practicing. Whereas in the subject S awards and bonuses become his reference for achievement, and the coach also plays an important role in the subject so that he can achieve.<\/strong><\/li>\n
