Description [Abstrak] : This research is aims to see how the description of parental support in improving the independence of mental retardation child in primary school Slb C Ruhui Rahayu Samarinda. This research used qualitatitve with case study approach. The data was collected using observation, in depth interview, and documentation about six people of student\u2019s mother. The first subject PJ, the form of support that is given is emotional support,with great care and affection, because the subject helps when the child has trouble doing something so that the child\u2019s independence can be seen.The second subject SW,form of support that is given is informative support,so the child can do something by himself and listen to the advice and direction of the subject.The third subject DW,the form of support that is given is emotional support, with attention and advice when the child can not clean the goodsproperly and subject also accompany and encouraging when child are learning.The forth subject AG,the form of support that is given is emotional support by giving advice and help the child when the child looks emotion because it can not take something desired.The fifth subject RM, the form of support that is given is emotional support by helping and giving direction to the child so that the independence of the child can be known when the child is learning alone and listen to the direction of the subject.The sixth subject RY,the form of support that is given is emotional support by paying attention when the child is cleaning the terrace of the house and pay attention while the child is learning.<\/strong><\/li>\n
