4. Description [Abstrak] : This research aims to know the difference in the level of loneliness and subjective well-being in individuals living away from the family of pet ownership. This research uses a quantitative comparative approach. The subject of the research is 110 Students by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection method used is the scale of loneliness and subjective well-being. Methods of data analysis used is the method of analysis independent samples t-test with the help of program Satistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 21.0 for windows. Research results with the 95% confidence level indicates that: (1) there is a difference of loneliness on students who live away from their families that have and do not have pets with coefficient difference independent sample t-test of 0.026 with p 0.05.<\/strong><\/li>\n
