Description [Abstrak] : This research is concern to the Adversity Quotient of honorary teachers of SMAN 2 Loa Kulu, how are the teachers being able to struggle and afford in the difficulties condition that they have. This research used qualitative method based on phenomenology approach. Respondent was taken by purposeful sampling that is selection subject of research based on characteristics to fulfill the purposes that have been decided. Data collecting method was interview and observation used four research subjects. Research result indicates that fourth subjects have good Adversity Quotient and afford to survive in their difficulties condition. First, to SM subject, become honorary teacher of SMAN 2 Loa Kulu since beginning until now, as long as twelve years, she can survive because family and comfortable working environment factors. Second subject is TP, overseas girl from Java Island who fates as honorary teacher during 2 years have good Adversity Quotient because necessary and family support. And third sample is JM , nine years working already and can survive because family and comfortable working environment factor, too. The last or fourth sample is CR, as a patriarch with two children and has six years working period can survive because necessary factor and social status increase so give benefit for CR life.<\/strong><\/li>\n
