4. Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to determine the relationship between peer conformity with smoking behavior in students of SMP Negeri 22 Samarinda. This research uses quantitative approach consisting of two variables that is dependent variable and independent variable. In this research depedent variable was smoking behavior and independent variable was peer conformity. To taking of sample test results, this research used Purposive Sampling. Sample in this research was students in SMP Negeri 22 Samarinda with 80 students used Likert scale. Data analysis technique used correlation test method Product Moment with Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) 20.0 for windows 7 program. The result of this study shows there was a relationship between conformity of peers with smoking behavior that is value r = 0.612 and p = 0.000, based on the result, this research has a strong correlation, is the greater of the conformity of peers, then the greater the smoking behavior of student.<\/strong><\/li>\n
