4. Description [Abstrak] : Safe Harbor agreement was a data transfer agreement between the Euorapean Union ( EU ) and the United States of America ( USA ), the purpose was to bridge the differences of private data transfer between them, the agreement have been established since October 2000, but in October 2015 the European Court canceled the Safe Harbor agreement, because US goverment have been violated the principles of the agreement. The purpose from this research is to explain about the reason why European Court canceled the Safe Harbor agreement. The type of this research is descriptive explanatif, the research analyzed using the decision making Theory, international agreements Theory and The Safe Harbor Concept, and as a result found the US Government spionase program called the Prism program, violations by the US compony to the Safe Harbor certification, Activists report by Max Screams and consideration of European Court.<\/strong><\/li>\n
