Description [Abstrak] : The United States and South Korea military alliance which is a manifestation of the implementation of the US Extended Deterrence policy has made the complexity of the Korean Peninsula region\u2019s security. This purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Extended Deterrence implementation policy of the United States on the stability of security condition of Korean Peninsula. This study used explanatory methods. In this study the authors use deterrence theory and concept of security dilemma which are used to perform the analysis in this study. Data analysis technique used qualitative analysis. The results show the military alliances between the United States and South Korea as a manifestation of the Extended Deterrence policy in order to protect the security of South Korea from the North Korean nuclear issue have affected the security conditions of the Korean Peninsula region by causing a security dilemma for the countries of the Korean Peninsula region internally consisting of Japan, China and North Korea without external influences covering countries outside the Korean peninsula. The countries of the external region of the Korean Peninsula only focus on North Korea\u2019s denuclearization efforts.<\/strong><\/li>\n
