4. Description [Abstrak] : This research aim to describe the readiness of East Kalimantan as the Host Country in the sector of palm oil investment in facing the ASEAN Economic Community 2015. Writer try to describe and analyze the readiness of East Kalimantan from host country\u2019s prespective. Sources to be presented in this research is secondary sources. Sources obtained through literature review, either books, internet, ect. The sources analysis is qualitative analysis. East Kalimantan is a potential area are included in the Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic (MP3EI) declared as Kalimantan economic corridor that puts a wealth of natural resources to attract investors to invest. The wealth of natural resources with the greatest potential for palm oil is increasing in breadth and production. AEC East Kalimantan used as to gain a wider market and economic cooperation with the countries of investors in the management of palm oil into derivative products which have higher economic value. it is necessary to do readiness in various ways to support the implementation of the East Kalimantan economic purposes are, market opportunities, improved infrastructure, regulations and policies, governance of natural resources and improving the quality of human resources.<\/strong><\/li>\n
