Description [Abstrak] : The purpose of this research is to know the influence of parenting pattern of parent and self regulation to discipline of junior high school student of 17 August 1945 Samarinda. Data were collected by questionnaire method and analyzed using anova analysis to know how big influence prediction of independent variable to dependent variable and difference of mean from that variable. Population in this research is all of junior high school 17 August 1945 Samarinda. The number of samples in this study was 94 people. The sample used in this research is Random Sampling. Data analysis technique using univariate test. The results showed that there was no correlation between parenting pattern with student discipline that is Mean Square = 180.025, F = 1.375 and p = 0.240 (p> 0.050). Then the pattern of parenting with the discipline of students has a significant relationship with Mean Square = 579.553, F = 2.957 and p = 0.037 (p <\/strong><\/li>\n
