Description [Abstrak] : <strong>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dan mengalisis karakteristik keewirausahaan terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada para pelaku usaha kuliner di seputaran Universitas Mulawarman di Samarinda, serta untuk mengetahui variabel manakah yang paling berpengaruh. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji F (Simultan) menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik kewirausahaan secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan. Hasil uji t (Parsial) menunjukkan bahwa hanya ada empat variabel yaitu pengetahuan tentang usaha, pengetahuan praktis, berkreasi dan kemampuan untuk berhitung yang secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha  pada para pelaku usaha kuliner di seputaran Universitas Mulawarman di Samarinda. sedangkan variabel lainnya yaitu imajinasi berpandangan jauh kedepan, dan kemampuan untuk berkomunikasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada para pelaku usaha kuliner di seputaran Universitas Mulawarman di Samarinda.  Variabel berkreasi adalah variabel yang paling berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada para pelaku usaha kuliner di seputaran Universitas Mulawarman di Samarinda. Sebaiknya para pelaku usaha kuliner di seputaran Universitas Mulawarman meningkatkan dan mempertahankan karakteristik kewirausahaan dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang usaha, pengetahuan praktis, berkreasi, dan kemampuan untuk berhitung, agar usahanya dapat mencapai suatu keberhasilan usaha pada para pelaku usaha kuliner di seputaran Universitas Mulawarman di Samarinda.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>  5.
