Indosat, Tbk Balikpapan serta untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat kualitas  komunikasi pelayanan customer service di PT. Indosat Balikpapan. Hasil dari Penenlitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas komunikasi dalam pelayanan customer service PT. Indosat, Tbk Balikpapan, dari kelima variabel kualitas komunikasi, dari segi keterbukaan petugas Customer Service mau mendengar dan memberikan informasi secara jujur dan informatif, dan juga terbuka dalam menerima kritik dan saran yang membangun dari pelanggan (customer), serta selalu melayani dengan baik setiap pelanggan yang datang. Dalam variabel sikap mendukung, menunjukkan bukan hanya petugas Customer Service  saja yang menciptakan suasana kondusif, tetapi seluruh petugas unit pelayanan galeri Indosat Balikpapan terlihat menyambut dengan sopan dan ramah demi mendukungnya komunikasi berlangsung efektif dan terarah. Pada variabel sikap positif petugas Customer Service dalam berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi selalu disertai dengan perasaan positif atau berprasangka baik terhadap lawan bicara. Dalam variabel empati menunjukkan petugas customer service selalu peduli kepada kepentingan pelanggan, dengan menjaga tutur kata yang baik dan sopan terhadap setiap pelanggan yang ada.  Dan dalam variabel kesetaraan adanya rasa saling menghormati dan menghargai antar petugas dengan pelanggan ditunjukkan dengan tidak adanya pembeda-bedaan baik berdasarkan jenis kelamin, usia, maupun pekerjaan.<\/li>\n<li> <strong>  5.
