Description [Abstrak]: The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contains a main idea that related to the mandate of the corporate world to not merely seek profits, but it should also be ethical and instrumental in the creation of a social investment. Today, manifestation of CSR by companies is to conduct development program and community empowerment as well as the activities of caritative. Those programs undertaken by the company as part of its social responsibility and concern of the community, which is the most potential affected parties of the operational activities of the company. The community has realized is one of important stakeholder who influance the existence and mission of the company in the long term. In this context, the company must carry out social responsibility and ethical responsibility, along with the responsibility of economic and legal responsibility. This paper lays out the essential meaning of CSR for the current community development based on the early conception of the CSR until various perspectives about it. <\/strong><\/li>\n
