4. Description [Abstrak] : Mimika regional government in cooperation with USAID in addressing the spread of malaria. The purpose of this article is to examine the USAID program of cooperation with the government of Papua in overcoming malaria. Theory in this study discusses public helath conditions in Papua and USAID cooperative relationship with the government of Papua in dealing with malaria, especially in Mimika regency. The results showed that although the implementation of the USAID Health Service Program has been done to tackle malaria in Mimika remains high and the reason is because the lack of availability of doctors in the region, as well as the slow pace of aid delivery of drugs from the center so frequent supply shortages drug medicines in public health centers and local hospital and their genetic factor that residents in the area have a variety of receptors are genetically more diverse, thus giving the opportunity for the malaria causing parasite plasmodium to enter.<\/strong><\/li>\n
