Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif yang dimaknai sebagai upaya mendeskripsikan keadaan atau suatu fenomena. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dari 24 siaran program Selamat Pagi Kaltim selama periode Agustus 2015 terdapat 25% tema Politik dan Pemerintahan, 4% tema Kegiatan Ekonomi, 17% tema Kesehatan dan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat, 8% tema Kecelakaan dan Bencana, 4% tema Pendidikan dan Seni Klasik, 4% tema Hiburan Masyarakat, 34% tema Human Interest, dan 4% tema Agama. Aspirasi yang disampaikan masyarakat yakni Keluhan sebanyak 8%, Pujian sebanyak 4%, Kritik sebanyak 20%, Saran dari masyarakat sebanyak 32%, Harapan sebanyak 15%, serta Apsirasi lainnya sebanyak 21%.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>  5.
