Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai di Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) Kota Samarinda.<br \/>\nMetode penelitian ini penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian yang bersifat kuantitatif assosiatif yang bertujuan mengetahui hubungan kasual (sebab akibat). Dengan kata lain, penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengaruh antara variabel bebas yaitu Motivasi terhadap Prestasi Kerja Pegawai di Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota (BKD) Kota Samarinda sebagai variabel terikat, serta membuktikan kebenaran hipotesis yang penulis rumuskan.<br \/>\nHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Motivasi mempunyai pengaruh yang positif serta masuk kategori sedang dan korelasi yang searah terhadap variabel Prestasi Kerja Pegawai di Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) Kota Samarinda. Ditunjukkan dengan hasil perhitungan sebesar 35,9% dan sisanya 64,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>  5.
