Description [Abstrak] :<\/strong> This study aims to determine the effect of the performance of lecturers and student learning motivation in Prodi sosiastri social and political science faculty Samarinda. The study consists of two variables: the dependent variable of learning motivation and the independent variables lecturer performance.<br \/>\nSampling technique by using purposive sampling sample in this study is the Student Prodi Sosiatri Mulawarman Samarinda force in 2013, as many as 57 people. Data analysis technique used is the product moment correlation test<br \/>\nResults of correlation Kendall&#8217;s tau-b between learning motivation and performance of the lecturers have demonstrated a correlation value = -0030 both variables have a negative correlation is very low. While the value of p = 0755&gt; 0.05 indicates the two variables are not significant\n<\/li>\n<li> <strong>  5.
