M.Si selaku dosen pembimbing I dan Sabiruddin, S.Sos,.I., M.A selaku dosen pembimbing II.<br \/>\nPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikanPersepsi Anggota Organisasi Ikatan Mahasiswa Pencinta Alam (IMAPA) Universitas Mulawarman (UNMUL) Tentang Program Tayangan \u201cReality Show\u201d Ethnic Runaway di Trans TV.<br \/>\nJenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif.Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian Purposive Sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelitian lapangan (Field Work Research) melalui wawancara dengan beberapa informan, observasi langsung dilapangan serta dokumentasi.<br \/>\nPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi Imapa Unmul terhadap kebudayaan yang ada dipedalaman dalam program acara televisi.Dengan melalui media massa yang memiliki ciri khas yakni berkemampuan memikat perhatian khalayak secara serempak (simultaneous) dan serentak (instantaneous) sehingga dapat mengetahui persepsi Imapa Unmul terhadap kebudayaan yang ada dipedalaman melalui program acara \u201cEthnic Runaway yang disiarkan di Trans TV.<br \/>\nPenelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa  persepsi Imapa Unmul dalam tayangan \u201cEthnic Runaway\u201d sangatlah positif yang dalam artian positif yaitu, Ethnic Runaway telah mengenalkan budaya-budaya yang ada dipedalaman dan menginggatkan kembali tentang kebudayaan yang hampir punah dengan melalui tayangan Ethnic Runaway sehingga imapa dapat menambah pengetahuan  mengenai kebudayaan dan  berbagai macam tradisi-tradisi disetiap suku yang ada di indonesia.\n<\/li>\n<li> <strong>  5.
