Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer dan data sekunder yang berkaitan dengan situasi dan kondisi empiris Kinerja Pegawai. Penulis juga menggunakan penelitian observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis kualitatif dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) di Kantor Camat Samboja Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara yang dinilai dari kualitas kerja, kuantitas kerja, keahlian, disiplin dan tanggung jawab secara keseluruhan sudah cukup baik Akan tetapi ada beberapa hal yang harus dapat dioptimalkan lagi sehingga Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) di Kantor Camat Samboja Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara dapat lebih baik lagi.<\/li>\n<li><strong> 5.
