4. Description [Abstrak] :<\/strong> FEALAC (Forum for East Asia \u2013 Latin America Cooperation) is intra-regional organization which connects the two regions, East Asia and Latin America. The purpose of this research was to determine the interest of Indonesia in the Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC). This research is descriptive-explanative where the author explains how and the extent to which the interests of Indonesia in the framework of cooperation FEALAC. FEALAC has a strategic role in promoting trade cooperation relations between the countries of East Asia and countries in Latin America in general and Indonesia in particular. This forum should be maximized by any member of FEALAC to promote what is the product of excellence in the country through economic cooperation, trade and socio-cultural. But in reality this forum is not optimized as well as possible so that there are an imbalance in the export-import each FEALAC member countries. It must have been a problem within the framework of cooperation that is not optimal utilization Fealac this forum by each member state. The results of this research are the interests of Indonesia in Fealac are political, economic and socio-cultural. In the political field, Indonesia bilateral relations with member countries to raise issues of each country\u2019s national and global issues. Economic sector certainly makes Fealac as a strategic container in opening new markets for the sake of advancing the national economy. Social and cultural fields, to promote Indonesian culture in the eyes of the international community and promote the quality of Indonesian human resources through the exchange of students and scholarships.<\/li>\n
