Endang Erawan, M.Si.<br \/>\nTujuan dari penelitian upaya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) di Kantor Pos Samarinda 75000.<br \/>\nJenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun fokus penelitian ini adalah: 1. Upaya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik melalui a. restrukturisasi organisasi b. pemberian penghargaan dan sanksi kepada unit pelayanan. 2. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data primer diperoleh melalui key informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Kantor Pos Pos Samarinda 75000, dan informan yang terdiri dari 6 Manager dan 9 Karyawan Kantor Pos Samarinda 75000. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen-dokumen di Kantor Pos Samarinda 75000. Selanjutnya, dianalisis dengan menggunakan Analisis Data Kualitatif Model Interaktif dari Miles and Hubberman.<br \/>\nBerdasarkan hasil penelitian, bahwa upaya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan yang dilakukan Kantor Pos Samarinda 75000 belum maksimal dilaksanakan. Karena dari keenam upaya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik, Kantor Pos Samarinda 75000 hanya melaksanakan 2 (dua) yaitu melalui restrukturisasi organisasi serta memberikan penghargaan dan sanksi kepada unit pelayanan masyarakat.Sedangkan kendala yang dihadapi dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) di Kantor Pos Samarinda 75000 yaitu, faktor permodalan perusahaan, kurang profesionalisme karyawan atau sumber daya manusia perusahaan, kurangnya promosi kepada masyarakat dan kurangnya sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung pemberian layanan kepada masyarakat.<\/li>\n<li><strong> 5.
