Karya Ilmiah ini berargumentasi bahwa Pengaruh Pengawasan dan Budaya Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Kantor Kecamatan Bontang Selatan.<br \/>\nPenelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kantor Kecamatan Bontang Selatan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelitian kepustakaan, observasi, kuisioner, dan dokumentasi. Kuisioner disebarkan kepada 31 orang (responden) yang diambil dengan teknik random sampling yaitu dengan mengambil secara acak 31 orang responden. Data-data yang dikumpulkan dibandingkan dan dianalisis dengan analisis kuantitatif.<br \/>\nHasil penelitian ini menunjukkan korelasi antara pengawasan dengan kinerja pegawai sebesar 0,431 dan hasil tes menunjukkan signifikan, sementara korelasi antara budaya kerja dengan kinerja pegawai sebesar -0,128 yang hasil tes menunjukkan tidak signifikan. Adapun persamaan regresi variabel-variabel yang diteliti adalah Y=9,998+0,260X1+(-0,042)X2, yang artinya variabel pengawasan memiliki pengaruh dengan variabel kinerja pegawai sebesar 0,260 (signifikan), sedangkan pengaruh variabel budaya kerja dengan kinerja pegawai sebesar -0,042 (tidak signifikan). Dengan demikian hanya variabel pengawasan yang memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.<\/li>\n<li><strong> 5.
