Description [Abstrak]:<\/strong> Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjawab eksistesi BLU ditinjau dalam perspektif New Institutional Teori dan Principal-Agent Theory melalui kasus yang di RS Dr. Sutomo atas penghentian sementara pelayanan kesehatan bagi warga miskin di Jawa Timur. Tinjauan dimulai dari pendekatan paradigma NPM dan NPS, BLU diantara NPM dan NPS, BLU sebagai New Institutional Theory, dan Principal-Agent Theory dalam BLU. Kesimpulan terhadap eksistensi BLU menunjukkan bahwa BLU masih masuk dalam paradigma NPM, perubahan\/mutasi dari UPTD atau Dinas ke BLU ditinjau dari prespektif new institutional belum sepenuhnya telah melakukan perubahan-perubahan secara mendasar dan menyeluruh, pelaksanaan BLU dalam kerangka good governance kurang dapat mendukung eksistensi BLU sebagai lembaga pelayanan publik dimasa yang akan datang.<\/li>\n<li id=\"fm-item-penerbit\"><strong>5.
