Description [Abstrak] :<\/strong> Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pegawai sebagai pelayan publik di Kantor Camat Melak Kabupaten Kutai Barat kurang optimal. Hal tersebut terindikasi oleh sub fokus penelitian yang ditetapkan belum sepenuhnya dapat dilaksanakan secara tepat guna dan berhasil guna. Meski demikian secara akumulatif mengenai kinerja apartur di lembaga tersebut terindikasi cukup baik. Kurang optimalnya kinerja pegawai sebagai pelayan publik di Kantor Camat Melak Kabupaten Kutai Barat, disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor diantaranya faktor kapasitas dan kompetensi pegawai belum semuanya sesuai kualifikasi yang dibutuhkan. Dengan demikian upaya optimlaisasi kinerja pegawai di kantor Camat Melak Kabupaten Kutai Barat belum dapat diaktualisasikan. Meski demikian karena dedikasi dan ethos kerja pegawai yang tinggi, maka segala kelemahan yang pegawai dalam melaksanakan tugasnya dapat teratasi. Dengan demikian kepentingan warga\/masyarakat, baik yang menyangkut pembuatan kartu keluarga, kartu tanda penduduk, pembuatan surat ijin usaha, dan pembuatan surat pelepasan hak atas tanah dapat terselesaikan sebagaimana mestinya, meskipun secara aplikatif kurang memenuhi harapan masyarakat.<\/li>\n<li id=\"fm-item-penerbit\"> <strong> 5.
