Description [Abstrak] :<\/strong> Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis upaya-upaya peningkatan prestasi kerja pada Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah Dinas Kehutanan Kabupaten Kutai Barat.<br \/>\nAnalisis data menggunakan analisis model interaktif (Miles dan Huberman), yaitu melalui tahapan : pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data, dan kesimpulan\/verifikasi data.<br \/>\nHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya peningkatan prestasi kerja yang dilakukan Dinas Kehutanan Kabupaten Kutai Barat melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan, pemberian insentif, penegakan disiplin kerja, penyediaan fasilitas kerja, dan pemberian penghargaan merupakan tindakan yang sangat tepat untuk memacu para pegawai untuk lebih berprestasi. Meskipun upaya peningkatan prestasi kerja secara aplikatif masih dihadapkan oleh beberapa persoalan (faktor penghambat), dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa prestasi kerja dapat ditingkatkan melalui 5 (lima) parameter yang telah dilakukan Dinas Kehutanan Kabupaten Kutai Barat.\n<\/li>\n<li id=\"fm-item-penerbit\"> <strong> 5.
