This is in collaboration with the forest service and the manager every week BKNP observe the location of protected areas and observationnests orangutan habitat.<\/p>\n National Park area Betong Kerihun (BKNP) was originally a nature reserve (formerly named Bentung Karimun Nature Reserve) with an area of 600,000 hectares set by the Minister of Agriculture in 1982 . BKNP area designated as a national park finally and changed its name to the National Park Betong Kerihun . Height of the region located between 300-1960 meters above sea level . Faunal diversity in BKNP very high, including orang-utans, sun bears , monkeys and gibbons white. Percentage oforangutan habitats howedan increase compared to the previous percentage of poor as well as the lack of education about the functions and benefits of forest conservation BKNP againstimmigrants\n<\/li>\n
