Description [Abstrak] :<\/strong> The data presented in this study is secondary data acquired through the study of literature such as books, articels, journals and news which is related to the main point of this study. Data collecting techniques based on a number of literatures and relevant to the matters of the study (books, journals, internet). \nAnalysis techniques used are qualitative method, a method of research relating one to another relevant data with the main core of the study in this case ASEAN\u2019s effort in conflict settlement of Spratly Islands to prevent an expand from the written sources. \nIn the results of the study indicate that there is a connection between the main issue of ASEAN\u2019s efforts in conflict settlement and involved countries desire to reduce in peaceful way and avoid an open conflict.<\/li>\n
