Kinerja pegawai Bagian Sosial Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Kutai Timur walaupun belum menunjukkan prestasi optimal, namun setidaknya karya-karya yang dihasilkan oleh pegawai di lingkungan kerja tersebut cukup baik. Kurang optimalnya kinerja pegawai dilembaga kerja tersebut merupakan konsekuensi dari kompetensi pegawai yang belum optimal. Peningkatan kompetensi tentunya didukung dengan tingkat pendidikan pegawai, spesialisasi (skill), pengalaman kerja dan sikap kerja yang dimiliki oleh pegawai. Adapun faktor yang mendukung peningkatan kinerja adalah sarana prasarana kerja, Semangat kerja pegawai dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan, Adanya komitmen yang kuat dari pegawai untuk memacu peningkatan kinerja, dan kondusifnya iklim organisasi. <\/li>\n<li id=\"fm-item-penerbit\"> <strong> 5.
