Description [Abstrak] :<\/strong> Research results showed that Sebatik Island’s border issue was not only related to boundary violations and the emergence of many illegal activities but also dependency of Sebatik citizen on Malaysia to fulfilled daily needs, which was feared it would have an impact on society reduced sense of nationalism that allows posed a threat to the sovereignty and security stability if not properly managed. Lacked of motivation and role of either central and local government in border management to fulfilled the citizen’s welfare implied fully on TNI as state border administrator, in this case to maintained territorial integrity, TNI would prioritize more on preventive acts than refresive through social approaches to the citizen by doing many activities that had a direct impact on Sebatik citizen’s needs and interests, which was hoped to gave contribution to maintained nation unity.<\/li>\n
