Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan melakukan dua macam penelitian yakni field research (penelitian lapangan) dengan terjun langsung ke lokasi penelitian yakni di Kantor Samarinda Pos dan Library Reasearch (studi kepustakaan) mengumpulkan artikel-artikel yang berkaitan sebagai data tambahan dalam penelitian. Strategi komunikasi bisnis yang diterapkan oleh surat kabar harian Samarinda Pos dalam menjaring pemasang iklan adalah dengan menerapkan tiga macam dari lima macam metode strategi komunikasi pemasaran. Samarinda Pos menerapkan Periklanan (advertising), Promosi dan penjualan tatap muka (Personal Selling).<\/li>\n<li> <strong>  5.
