Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh tingginya angka remaja putus sekolah di Kalimantan Timur yang beresiko menghadapi pengangguran akibat kurangnya keterampilan kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap Kepala PSBR serta dua instruktur pelatihan tata rias. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemberdayaan yang dilakukan PSBR Samarinda melalui keterampilan tata rias meliputi tujuh tahap pemberdayaan menurut Isbandi Rukminto Adi, yaitu tahap persiapan, assessment. Perencanaan alternatif program, pemformulasisan rencana aksi, pelaksanaan program, pemformulasian rencana aksi, pelaksanaan program, evaluasi, dan terminasi. Pelatihan keterampilan tata rias tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan teknis peserta, tetapi juga mengembangkan soft skill seperti kedisiplinan, kepercayaan diri, dan kemandirian. Program ini berkontribusi positif dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian ekonomi remaja putus sekolah serta membantu mereka beradaptasi secara sosial di Masyarakat. Dengan demikian, pemberdayaan melalui pelatihan tata rias di PSBR Samarinda menjadi strategi efektif dalam membentuk remaja putus sekolah yang berdaya, mandiri, dan siap bersaing di dunia kerja.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>  5.
