Description [Abstrak] : <strong>Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui respon Facebook terhadap berita hoax yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa berdasarkan sudut pandang masing-masing. Penelitian yang mengungkap kondisi sosial tertentu melalui penggambaran realitas secara akurat melalui kata-kata berdasarkan prosedur pengumpulan dan analisis data yang berlaku dikenal dengan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder, yang dikumpulkan dari total lima orang yang diwawancarai.Teknik data yang digunakan yaitu dokumentasi,wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa facebook mampu memberikan reaksi yang cukup berpengaruh di kehidupan orang-orang yang menggunakannya reaksi ini bisa menjadi efek positif atau efek negatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki pemahaman yang bervariasi terkait dengan berita hoax, dan persepsi mereka dipengaruhi oleh sejumlah faktor. Faktor-faktor tersebut melibatkan kepercayaan terhadap sumber informasi, literasi media, dan pengalaman pribadi. Lingkungan sosial, seperti interaksi di kalangan teman sebaya dan keluarga, juga memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk sikap siswa terhadap berita palsu di Facebook.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>  5.
