Description [Abstrak] : This study aims to describe the role of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in dealing with the problem of child labor in Vietnam in 2015-2020, where cases of child labor in Vietnam are still quite high. The high rate of child labor in Vietnam is caused by several factors such as economic inequality and social life, as well as an increase in internal migration from villages to cities in search of work. The type of research used is descriptive research using secondary data obtained through library research and then analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the role of the ILO in dealing with the problem of child labor in Vietnam in 2015-2020 is divided into three roles of international organizations namely as instruments, arenas and actors through the ILO-ENHANCE program, where as an instrument the ILO has a role in assisting the Vietnamese government to adjust and harmonizing the National Law on child labor in accordance with international standards, then in its role as an ILO arena facilitating meetings of the ILO International training center (ICT) workshop activities between Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Vietnam, while in its role as an actor the ILO applies the intervention model in Vietnam such as helping to provide livelihood support to economically vulnerable families. All of the ILO’s roles are integrated into the ILO-ENHANCE program. Through the program implemented by the ILO, the number of child labor cases in Vietnam has been successful in decreasing, where based on the results of the 2012 child labor survey and the 2018 survey showed a decrease in child labor cases. These results indicate that the role of the ILO through the ILO-ENHANCE program in dealing with the problem of child labor in Vietnam in 2015-2020 had a significant impact.<\/strong><\/li>\n
