Description [Abstrak] :<\/strong> The main subject of this research is focussed to describe about the Indonesia Governance efforts to strike and stopping against the timber smuggling in Indonesia-Malaysia national boundary, especially in Territory of Nunukan boundary which take place in 2004-2012, the objective of this research is to undertand and describing how the strategy plan work to reducting and prevent the timber smuggling and to push down the level of deforestation, and also this research will explaining about the history of timber smuggling in Indonesia-Malaysia Boundary.\n
The result of the research showed that the attempts and efforts from the Indonesia Governance to strike against timber smuggling in boundary territory was met the good result even this issue has not accomplished yet, but still thats was a great success cause the governance has successfully pressing down the level of illegal logging at the boundary and also has successfully pushing down the number of deforestation. <\/li>\n
