Description [Abstrak] : South Korea’s Efforts in the Import of Semiconductor Chemicals during the 2019 Japanese Export Restriction Period were carried out by encouraging the domestic industry to shift from external dependence which focusing on measures to stabilize supply and strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic industry by diversifying import sources and import substitution or localization that resulted in the development of semiconductor chemicals by domestic companies and investment from foreign companies to develop and produce semiconductor chemicals in South Korea. This South Korea’s import efforts were due to Japan issuing revisions to export trade controls by limiting exports of semiconductor chemicals to South Korea in 2019. These export restrictions affected the South Korean semiconductor industry.<\/strong><\/li>\n
