4. Description [Abstrak] : This research aims to explain Iranian efforts to mitigate the effects of the United States embargo in 2018. This research used a secondary data. This research used supply and demand theory and the embargo concept. This research show that the efforts made by Iran to improve its economy are not successful enough in handling its economy, where by strengthening its oil export activities to China and selling oil through the stock market, Iran continues to decline from 2.2 million barrels per day with oil revenues worth 40 billion dollars in 2018 to 762,779 barrels per day with oil revenues worth 25 billion dollars in 2021. Furthermore, efforts to strengthen trade have not been able to cover the decline in outgoing oil export revenues and in establishing a financial mechanism between Iran and the European Union did not go smoothly to overcome the International payment system from Iran with Europe Union countries so that Iran’s inflation is still high from 39.9% in 2018 to 43.2% in 2021.<\/strong><\/li>\n
