Description [Abstrak] : <strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis Pengaruh Karakteristik Kewirausahaan, Locus OfControl, dan Gender terhadap Keberhasilan Usaha pada Home-based New Ventures di Kelurahan Api-api Kota Bontang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan jumlah responden 100 wirausaha Home-based new ventures di Kelurahan Api-api Kota Bontang. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pengujian secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik kewirausahaan dan gender berpengaruh signifikan dan locus of control tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Namun untuk hasil pengujian secara simultan menujukkan bahwa karakteristik kewirausahaan, locus of control, dan gender berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha pada wirausaha home-based new ventures di Kelurahan Api-api Kota Bontang. Peneliti memberikan saran yaitu diharapkan para wirausaha home-based new ventures di Kelurahan Api-api Kota Bontang dapat terus mengaplikasikan karakteristik kewirausahaan, dapat mengaplikasikan dimensi locus of control internal serta dapat mengaplikasikan indikator gender yakni peran, hak, manfaat serta kontrol yang sama dengan cara memperbaiki mindset. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengajarkan digital marketing mengingat pada wirausaha di Kelurahan Api-api sebanyak 69% masih belum memiliki media sosial.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>  5.
