4. Description [Abstrak] : The decline in crude oil prices since 2014 has resulted in a decrease in Saudi Arabia’s oil revenues which has resulted in the Government of Saudi Arabia carrying out a national transformation called Saudi Vision 2030. Saudi Vision 2030 focuses on reducing the kingdom’s dependence on revenues from the oil sector through expanding the economic base, one of which is by becoming a global investment powerhouse. This study aims to analyze the reasons for Saudi Arabia invested in the SME sector in Indonesia in 2017. This research was conducted using explanatory methods and data collection techniques using library research based on data obtained in the form of secondary data sourced from various book references, e-books, journals to internet sites. The results show that the reasons for Saudi Arabia’s investment in the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia in 2017 are the availability of resources including labor wages, mastery of information and communication technology, and infrastructure in Indonesia which increases the efficiency of investment value and the size and openness of the market marked with a significant increase in GDP in Indonesia.<\/strong><\/li>\n
