Description [Abstrak] : Ikmal Muzakkar, NIM. 1602045007, thesis title “The Reasons for the United States to Arrest Huawei’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2018” under theguidance of Rahmah Daniah, S.IP, M.Si as Supervisor I and Arif Wicaksa, MA as supervisor II, International Relations Program of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Mulawarman University Samarinda in 2022. \nThis study aimed to analyze and describe the reasons for the United States Arresting Huawei’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2018. The methodology used in the study was explanatory through primary and secondary data. Author used theories and concepts to explain the phenomenon or event that being researched by collecting data from the study of literature through previous research from journals, books, and news sites on the internet. \nThe results showed that the United States arrested Huawei’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) because the United States government saw that Huawei had violated the United States’ national law, namely the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act by selling US informationtechnology devices that embargoed to Iran. \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
