Description [Abstrak] : <strong><strong>Erry Pratama, The analysis of the motivation in Cafe Rata Kiri Citra Niaga performance in the city of Samarinda, under the guidance of Mrs. Tuti Wediwati S.Sos., M.Si.<br \/>\nCompanies must apply good motivation from direct or indirect motivation, because a work motivation has a close relationship with performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze motivation in improving employee performance at the Citra Niaga Rata Kiri Cafe in Samarinda City.<br \/>\nThis research method uses a qualitative descriptive type of research, and in this study uses an interactive model data analysis method developed by Miles and Huberman, using key informant data sources as resource persons as much as 1 person, namely the owner of the Rata Kiri Citra Niaga Cafe in Samarinda City and 5 informants. people, namely 2 bartender employees, 2 waiters employees and 1 cashier employee. The data presented using primary data and secondary data, through observation, interviews, documentation and reference books that have to do with this writing.<br \/>\nThe results of this study indicate that there are several findings related to the indicators studied, namely, judging from the direct motivation (award) that is still not given, because it is not in accordance with the level of work given. Judging from the motivation not (equipment) used is still lacking in directing the work process. Judging from the performance (responsibility) given is still lacking in carrying out the obligations that must be carried out so that the responsibility given is decreased.<br \/>\nThe company has minimized what can happen during the work process to enhance employee performance to be more optimal. Of the 11 indicators including the focus of research, it has supported work motivation in improving employee performance at the Citra Niaga Rata Kiri Cafe in Samarinda City which include praise, awards, equipment, work comfort, work placement, work ability, meticulous in work, work speed, implementation work, cooperation, work discipline and responsibility.<\/strong><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>5.
