4. Description [Abstrak] : Plastic waste is an environmental issue that is being discussed due to the harm it is causing to the environment, particularly the oceans. This is due to society’s way of life, the amount of plastic waste produced is increasing, but it is not being balanced by good waste management. The purpose of this research is to discover what Greenpeace’s efforts, as an international organization that works on environmental issues, reduce plastic waste in Indonesia. The descriptive research method was used, as well as secondary data obtained from literature, reports, books, and a valid website. Social Movement Theory and International Organizations were used as analysis tools in this study. The results of the study demonstrated Greenpeace’s efforts to reduce waste in Indonesia by conducting research on plastic waste in Indonesia, negotiating with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies, monitoring and identifying plastic waste, and initiating a campaign called #PantangPlastik.<\/strong><\/li>\n
