  • 4. Description [Abstrak] : December 10th, 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights was formed as milestone for the guarantee of human rights. Although the protection of human rights violations have been declared but it still occur directly or indirectly. Nowadays, Myanmar is one of the countries that have committed human rights violations. Human rights violations in Myanmar, would not be separated by the Rohingya case that became one of the most humanitarian violations happened a long time in the country. Military government does not acknowledge them as a part of the indigenous people in Myanmar. This has been strengthened by the establishment of Burma Citizenship Law 1982. Violations against ethnic Rohingyas, making international organizations to act and provide assistance such as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). OIC as an international organization is doing its part to protect the Muslims in the world, and oppose racial discrimination. OIC as a third party to help resolve issues involving Myanmar’s government and ethnic Rohingya using mediation methods. This study discuss how the mediation process undertaken by the OIC in the case settlement.
